Mat 7:28-29 NKJV  And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching,  (29)  for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

 

Mar 1:21-28 NKJV  Then they went into Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath He entered the synagogue and taught.  (22)  And they were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.  (23)  Now there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit. And he cried out,  (24)  saying, "Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!"  (25)  But Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Be quiet, and come out of him!"  (26)  And when the unclean spirit had convulsed him and cried out with a loud voice, he came out of him.  (27)  Then they were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, "What is this? What new doctrine is this? For with authority He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him."  (28)  And immediately His fame spread throughout all the region around Galilee.

 

Mat 8:8-10 NKJV  The centurion answered and said, "Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed.  (9)  For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and to another, 'Come,' and he comes; and to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it."  (10)  When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, "Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!

 

Mat 28:18-20 NKJV  And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.  (19)  Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  (20)  teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

 

Luk 9:1-2 NKJV  Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.  (2)  He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

 

Luk 10:17-20 NKJV  Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name."  (18)  And He said to them, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.  (19)  Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.  (20)  Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven."

 

2Th 3:7-9 NKJV  For you yourselves know how you ought to follow us, for we were not disorderly among you;  (8)  nor did we eat anyone's bread free of charge, but worked with labor and toil night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you,  (9)  not because we do not have authority, but to make ourselves an example of how you should follow us.

 

2Co 10:8 NKJV  For even if I should boast somewhat more about our authority, which the Lord gave us for edification and not for your destruction, I shall not be ashamed—

 

1Co 9:16-18 NKJV  For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel!  (17)  For if I do this willingly, I have a reward; but if against my will, I have been entrusted with a stewardship.  (18)  What is my reward then? That when I preach the gospel, I may present the gospel of Christ without charge, that I may not abuse my authority in the gospel.

 

Tit 2:15 NKJV  Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.

Jud 1:7-8 NKJV  as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.  (8)  Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries.

But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God's minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.  (5)  Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience' sake.  (6)  For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God's ministers attending continually to this very thing.  (7)  Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.
